Rubber Process Oil. Aromatic type of rubber process oil with good solvency. The oil is dark in colour and has good solvency. It is compatible with most rubber polymers. Napthenic type of rubber process oil suitable as general purpose rubber oil. Predominantly paraffinic rubber process oils suitable for use as plasticisers
Applications:
- Aromatic type of rubber process oil is suitable for use in manufacture of automobile rubber tyres , belting, battery case etc. where colour is not an important parameter.
- Napthenic type is suitable as general purpose oil in manufacture of footwear , moulded and extruded rubber goods. It is used to make the fabric coating compound , used in coating nylon tyre cords of passenger vehicle tyres.
- Predominantly paraffinic rubber process oils is suitable for use in epdm rubbers. It is particulary suitable for use in butyl and ehtylene propylene rubbers and light coloured rubbers. This is specially developed for shoe sole applications.
